The Blue Skies Glass Studio in Rottingdean, Brighton

Ruth runs workshops teaching the skills of stained glass where you can create your own small copper foiled stained glass creation or unique sun-catcher which you can take home with you at the end of the day. Ruth strongly believes in an holistic approach to health and well being and that expressing our creativity is an important part of a balanced and healthy life

Prior to the workshop we can work together to design your glass piece so your pattern is ready to be brought to life on the day. Workshop glass patterns are typically 12 to 15 cm in size. If you would like to create a larger piece, an additional fee may be required to cover the cost of materials

Workshop information:
• All materials are included in the price
• Refreshments available: tea, coffee and a selection of herbal teas
• Free on road parking

Situated in the idyllic village of Rottingdean, Brighton in our peaceful garden studio, with Kipling Gardens, Grange Museum & Art Gallery, Beacon Hill Windmill and Nature Reserve, beach, shops, cafes and pubs nearby. For the day workshop we recommend you bring a packed lunch with you or can always pop into the main village for lunch - we personally love the Open Arts Cafe 6 Nevill Road, Rottingdean BN2 7HG

• Please wear comfortable clothing with flat covered footwear
  
• Due to the materials used (lead), this course is not suitable for pregnant and lactating mothers
  
• Please be aware that hot soldering irons are used to join the pieces of glass together

Workshop timings:

• Taster workshops start times can be flexible to suit
  
• Day Workshops start times are usually around 9am and we aim to finish around 4-4:30pm
• Finish times for all workshops are flexible to ensure your creation is complete on the day, so do allow for a little additional time if required

**Accessibility:

• Unfortunately we are not currently wheelchair accessible
• We do try to make our workshop accessible to all however if you have any disabilities or physical limitations of any kind we ask that you discuss it with us before booking
  

• Most of the creative elements of the stained glass process are completed standing but we do have a lower table where you can work sat down for most of the workshop if preferred

Cancellation and Terms & Conditions policy:

• Workshops and Gift Vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person/s or date up to 7 days prior to the start of the course
• Cancellation within 7 days of the start of the course is non-refundable but can be rescheduled for another date at 50% of the full price
• Cancellation of less than 24 hours notice is non-refundable and non-transferable
• Buy booking and purchasing a workshop or gift voucher,you are agreeing to the terms and conditions
